Callestick Farm Cornish Dairy Ice Cream launches ‘Cherries Jubilee’
Callestick Farm Cornish Dairy Ice Cream have teamed up with Lanhydrock to create a Jubilee flavoured ice cream.
The Jubilee ice cream is based on the dessert Cherries Jubilee and combines a white chocolate ice cream base with a ripple of cherries soaked in Kirsch.
Melanie Claridge, Catering Manager at the National Trust property, needs no excuse for a celebration and the Jubilee has provided the perfect opportunity to share a sense of occasion with her customers. Melanie teamed up with Callestick Farm Cornish Ice Cream to create a delicious ice cream with a difference.
“We wanted to create something befitting for such an occasion and we believe we have risen to the challenge with our Cherries Jubilee Ice Cream. The white chocolate base is pure luxury and the deep velvety red ripple of kirsch cherries adds both visual impact and also tastes totally indulgent” comments Melanie Marsh of Callestick Farm “Like our Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh we are hoping this will be a flavour that will stick the test of time and become a favourite amongst our customers”.
Melanie of Lanhydrock said, “We have put a lot of thought and energy into the development of this flavour and we believe it to be a really worthy and delectable flavour – fit for a Queen”.
The Jubilee ice cream will be available at Lanhydrock from 31st of May 2012.
