The Great Cornish Food Academy will help explode the myth that working in food and drink is a poor career choice, by:

Lighting a spark for budding food entrepreneurs.
Reigniting interest in much-needed skills such as fishing and farming, butchery and bakery, with real, have-a-go experiences for career seekers of all ages.
Showcasing the brilliant variety of opportunities and earnings potential across the sector.
Helping employers hire and hold onto the right people.

We’re working with schools and colleges to offer courses and “have-a-go" opportunities at all levels, from 14- to 16-year-olds taking the first steps towards their future careers to older people considering a career change or simply curious to know more about working in food.
